Rugby match!

Hi guys! I'm reporting from Suva today, I'm at the capital city of the country because we had a weekend off and we decided to come and know the place, even if I will come back later. It's a wonderfull city, I love it! It is sunday morning, and I am a little bit tired because yesterday night,we went to a rugby match!!!!! Yeah! I am so happy. I personally don't like rugby so much but Fiji is a country where rugby is one of the most important sports so I had to see a match. We went to the National Stadium at 20:00 to see the Suva Highlanders vs. the Northern Sharks. We had booked tickets the night before, so we arrived only 15 minutes before the match started. It was great, I felt the adrenaline inside of me, people shouting, the teams giving their best, it was awesome! Both teams were great, the Highlanders are from Suva, Naitasiri and Kadavu, it was the home team so there were lot of Highlanders fans, besides, they won the runners-up (2004;2006) and the Colonial cup (2005)so it is a great team. On the other hand, we had the Sharks, from Vanua Levu, Taveuni, Ovalau, and Island Zone. They were added to the competition on 2005 and they didn't win nothing yet. However, the winners of the match were the Sharks, 28-16. Well guys, I hope you enjoyed my entry and I will talk to you later. XOXO Some pics:

Fiji Day!

Hi guys! Today is October 10, wich means that it is the Fiji Day! I am here at Nadi, and it's amazing! Everybody is celebrating, familys get together for cook, laugh, and celebrate the country day. The parks are full of people, the stores are closed or putting things on sale, there are lot of colours invading the city, it's wonderfull! As no-one in the group has their family here, we decided to celebrate all togethers at the Kula Eco Park, wich has little tables to sit and eat, so we cook at ours huts and bring the food there to eat and tell us different stories to get know more about us. Now I'm really tired because it's very late and tomorrow I have to work so I leave you, hope you guys enjoy my post and I will talk to you soon. Oh! I almost forgot, here is the commercial of Fiji Day : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MzVo0CRtTOA

The trip was amazing, I've done so many things and I knew lot of new places. The children were incredible, I had a great experience with them, i taught them everything I could, and I had learn lot of things thanks to them. I never thaught it would be so nice to volounteer but now, I want to do it every day of my life. Of course I will keep in touch with the organisation, and I will try to travel next year. I leave you guys, I will talk to you soon, from another part of the world. Cheers!

DAY ONE

>Hi! This is me reporting from Nadi,Fiji on Tuesday 1st October . I arrived five hours ago and I'm still in shock. The trip has been too long, it took me more than a day, but it worth, because I've never been here, and believe me guys, it is the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Lets get back in time. On Friday morning I left Uruguay, with my mind full of expectations, with that feeling that everything is going to be fabulous. I cried a little bit, because lets be honest, stay here for 4 weeks, far away from family and friends, and of course my house, it's not easy, but however, the flight was very good, and I arrive here at time. I had the meeting with the other volounteers at the Aquarius Fiji on Newtown Beach, in Wailoaloa,Martintar at 6:30am so I took a taxi to get there. I met the guys and now I'm with my roomates in a hut. Tomorrow we will have breakfast early in the morning to take the boat to Yasawa Islands, where we will work at the school, teaching and organising educational games/activities for the children, all in english. After that we will get back here and sleep I guess. I have to leave you guys, it's late and tomorrow it's going to be a long day. XOXO, Cindy. this is
